Features

Detailed enough for the real decisions.

Retiring a year sooner, claiming Social Security later, buying a house, supporting a child for life - see what each one does to the plan, not a rule of thumb.

Year-by-year projection

Every account, contribution, withdrawal and income source simulated to the end of your plan, with tax-aware withdrawals and RMDs. Open any year to see how every number was worked out.

Odds, not just averages

Monte Carlo simulation runs thousands of possible markets to show your chance of success and the range of outcomes - and stress-tests a bad first few years.

What moves the needle

See how retiring later, spending less, saving more or claiming Social Security later changes the outcome, and apply any change with one click.

Your whole household

Everyone at home, each with separate ages, pay and accounts, per-person contribution limits, and spousal and survivor Social Security benefits.

Life events

Marriage, a home, a child, college, an inheritance, part-time work, a bonus or time out of work - each at someone's age, with what it costs once and what it changes after.

Taxes, done properly

Federal brackets and deductions, capital gains, the taxable share of Social Security and payroll tax, every year - plus Roth conversions that fill a bracket you choose.

Special needs planning

Plan a dependent's lifelong support: SSI, benefits on your record, ABLE accounts, a special needs trust, and a care fund that has to last a lifetime.

Progress check-ins

Record your actual balances from time to time and see whether you're ahead of or behind the plan you set.

A plan for every what-if

Keep plans side by side - retire at 62 in one and 67 in another, or spend a little more - saved to your account and there on any device you sign in on.

A year in detail

Every number, explained.

Open any year of the plan to see where its money came from and where it went - which accounts paid for it, how much went to tax, and how each figure was worked out.

  • Withdrawals drawn in a tax-efficient order, or one you set
  • Required minimum distributions applied automatically
  • Surpluses reinvested in your brokerage account

Getting started

From a blank page to a plan in minutes.

  1. Tell it about your household

Ages, pay, accounts and balances, Social Security estimates and what you expect to spend. Sensible defaults fill in the rest.

  2. See where you're headed

Your projection, your chance of success and the headline numbers - with what stands out in your plan, good or bad.

  3. Try what-ifs

Copy a plan to try something different, add life events, and check in your real balances as the years go by.

Pricing

Three tiers. One careful calculation.

Every tier works out the same taxes, RMDs, Social Security, withdrawals and growth, every year in detail - so a Free plan's numbers are as careful as a Complete one's. The tiers differ in how much of your situation a plan covers, and the tools built on it.

Loading what each tier includes…

Change tiers whenever you like: nothing you've entered is ever deleted. What a tier doesn't include is left out of a plan's numbers and shows locked, and moving up brings it all back.
